Davis developed an interest in politics at a young age from learning about his parents’ careers in public service. Growing up around people who were activists in their communities encouraged him to pursue a degree in Political Science at Chapman University, where he fell in love with campaign work and political communications.

While earning his undergraduate degree he interned for the communications departments of the London Breed for Mayor and Suzy Loftus for District Attorney campaigns. He also worked as the Social Media Intern for Citizens Take Action, an organization dedicated to getting big money out of politics.

More recently he worked as the Communications Director for the Bijan Mohseni for State Assembly campaign, where he developed a passion for state and local politics.

Davis views the influence of corporate donations as the biggest threat to our democracy and is passionate about fighting for campaign finance reform. His other interests include fighting climate change, as well as for universal rights to healthcare in underserved communities
